Studio Information

  • Shire Yoga is situated within the Shire Martial Arts School. It is a large, quiet space, fully equipped with mats, blankets, blocks, chairs and belts 
  • The studio has heating for the cooler months and a/c too
  • Please call or email if you are a new student or you have any questions
  • Classes start on time, so please try not to be late. Entry is not possible 10 minutes after the class has started. The door is open 15 minutes before class start time
  • Class size is capped so all students are seen by the teacher
  • We practice in bare feet and it’s best to wear comfortable stretchy clothing
  • Students are always encouraged to work within their own limits
  • It’s best NOT to eat heavier foods at least 90 minutes before class
  • You’ll find Shire Yoga to be an inclusive, respectful environment
